At Home with babyganics

At the beginning of November I had the pleasure of attending the NJ Baby Expo, and met the NY/NJ rep for Babyganics. When we discussed collaborating I literally jumped for joy, because we’ve used their products ever since A was born. It’s a brand we stand by for our family. So, to get to the point- I was given a box of products to review and today I wanted to share some of my favorites with you.
I think I’ve tried more baby wipes than I have different types wine in my lifetime…oh, the joys of early parenting trial and error. So let me save you some trouble. We usually use pampers sensitive wipes and A absolutely hates them. And since she’s a toddler, the whole act of getting her diaper changed is like her world is ending. But I know how daunting the process of finding wipes that work can be. I have to say I’m pretty impressed with Babyganic’s wipes. They are soft and don’t have too much moisture. Although I think just a pinch more moisture would do the trick, my child does not detest these wipes and that’s a win for me. I should also mention that these wipes can be used all over! Not just for the bum, but the face and hands. I don’t want to have to use three different types of wipes for every part of my kids body. Somewhat of a joke, but you get what I’m saying. These wipes are a one stop shop for your kid!
When A was first born I bought a package of Babyganics diapers and they did not work for us at all. I found them to be flimsy, and would leak frequently. So when I received some diapers I decided to try her in one overnight. I’m not sure if Babyganics has changed the way they make their diapers, but they are great now! I felt her diaper in the morning and it didn’t even seem full, even though it was. She also didn’t seem to mind them at all, which is great because she likes to pull on her LUVS diapers quite a bit. I also feel more comfortable putting her in a Babyganics diaper because of what they are made with. We try our best, with the budget we have, to pick more organic, and earth-friendly products for our family. A also has super sensitive skin and finding a brand that has fragrance-free products can be a bit difficult. So overall these diapers were a win for us!
Lets talk about those diapers bag goodies! So I just got over the flu, and now I refuse to let germs into my home. I know its inevitable, but I try to use products that help reduce the amount of germs we are bringing back into our house by being proactive. All week I’ve kept the hand sanitizing wipes in my diaper bag, and you better believe I wiped down the carts during my many trips to Target! But in all seriousness, these are perfect for on-the-go moms. I love using them after A’s little gym class, and even left a few at the front desk.
Everyone in my family seems to have horrible cracked hands during the winter. Unfortunately my dad is the one that suffers the most. I have tried a few different products, but they are either too oily, don’t last, or do nothing at all for my skin. As the weather has cooled down, I decided to try the eczema care cream. The moment you put the cream on there’s a bit of a tingle, and I quite like it because it makes my brain feel like it’s working. I will say the cream needs to be worked in a bit, but it will last you. I’ve already seen a difference in my skin and will be passing it along for my parents to try out.
I’ve never really had a problem with stain removers before; most of the ones I have bought in the past seem to work just fine. What I like about the Babyganics stain remover is that it actually removes the odor. Most of the stain removers seem to just mask the smell, but this one removes it all-together. I was pretty impressed and will definitely buy more when we run out…I know we will need it! If you have cats you know the hair balls can be a bit much, so I’ve actually used the stain remover on our carpet to help get up that smell and unwanted cat throw up. It gets the job done and is safe for everyone in my home.
After we had A I can’t tell you how many people told us to boil her bottles after every use. I know things come and go, but I had to laugh a bit when people suggested this. If you are in search of a safe product to clean your bottles with, I would check out Babyganic’s bottle cleaner. If it can clean A’s nasty Nutramigen bottles, it works people. And it’s soft on the hands, which I know become irritated from doing all those dishes we parents have to do…unless you convince your hubby to take over dish duty like I do! The great part is you can get it in a great citrus smell to help distract yourself from the daunting task of doing the dishes.
So that’s all folks! As you can tell we are fans of Babyganics, and will continue to use their products in our home. Please note, this is a sponsored post and all reviews are 100% my own. I do love this brand, as it has been great for our family and most of all our daughter. I stand behind it and I’m thankful I get to share it you with!
